The Gen 2 Overseas is my pick of the bunch by far. Incredible guilloche dial, Dual time function, date wheel and power reserve indicator all make this watch incredibly versatile. Not to forget that iconic Maltese Cross bezel paired with functional butterfly deployant.

Vacheron’s name is one that is spoken at the highest level when it comes to watchmaking.

One of what watch collectors call the “Holy Trinity” and they are yet to disappoint.

This could be one of the nicest Dual Times released to date. This model in particular is a step above in my opinion.

The Guilloche finish and subtle white dial make this watch one of the cleanest steel sports I’ve seen.

Boasting a moon phase function, power reserve indicator, date function and second time zone, I don’t think it gets much better!

Someone with such a busy dial Vacheron has found a way for it to come across still classy and elegant. With the Maltese cross butterfly clasp and brushed finishing on the case and bracelet, Gen 2 is truly stunning. The calibre 1222 derived from the JLC 929/3 is complicated and something we haven’t seen from VC since they discontinued this piece.

The bracelet is really a strong feature on this watch. Derived from the unforgettable Maltese cross patterned logo a true work of art. Along with white gold hands, power reserve indicator insert and hour markers it is a subtle masterpiece.
