Jaeger-LeCoultre is a name associated with top tier watchmaking. For many years JLC have produced some of the best complications and have really cemented themselves as the watchmakers watch. Often overlooked, as the Reverso takes a lot of the spotlight. The Polaris is In my opinion the perfect daily diver. It also doesn’t carry the price tag of some of their other heavy hitters.
The Polaris’ finishing and case is something that cant be overlooked. A subtle blue dial that adapts and absorbs different lights but also taking on 3 different finishing techniques. The central section a sunray pattern, central ring featuring a grain pattern and inner rotating bezel has a matte finish. All this paired with incredible brushed case finish and tan leather strap. JLC use their in house movement and have used their signature inner rotating bezel. All this and a display case back!
I think this watch is incredibly well finished and is underrated in its field.
