In celebration of Omegas 100th year anniversary in 1948, they announced the release of the first Seamaster. this release was huge for Omega and the Seamaster went on to become their best selling watch.

In 1957 when scuba diving was making waves, Omega released the first Seamaster 300. A super durable dive watch rated up to 200 metres. Following this, after many years of success people started associating the Seamaster with James Bond. To this day some still say that the ‘Bond Seamaster is the reason why they started collecting!

When people ask me what my go to modern dive watch would be……its really a no brainer.

The Seamaster 300 comes in at a very wearable case size at 42mm and a huge amount of colour variants. This super wearable dive watch is a sporty yet casual wearer and comes with a gorgeous ocean inspired laser wave patterned dial.

In terms of its price range, I think there are very few that come close around the 5k mark! Open case back is a stunning touch and Omegas coaxial movement is reliable and efficient.

I think the white wave dial with black bezel is one of the most desirable colour ways. Topped off with that red Seamaster text and well positioned date window. The rubber strap gives it a comfortable sporty feel and really makes it an ultimate daily wearer.
