I think it’s safe to say the Omega Speedmaster will go down as one of the most iconic watches in history. Introduced in 1957 as a sports and racing chronograph, the Speedmaster solidified Omegas position as official timekeeper for the Olympic Games.

To this date, Omega has kept many of their iconic features on their newer releases. The raised domed crystal, triple register chronograph layout and perfectly balanced dial proportion to name a few. With history of being the first watch on the moon the Speedmaster has all the makings to make an all time classic.

Omegas newest release of their manual winding Calibre is the 3861. A now COSC certified movement with a 50 hour power reserve. Proportionally at 42mm the Speedmaster is unbelievably versatile and wearable. I find myself personally connecting with these watches. The Chronograph feature adds to my active lifestyle but is also versatile enough to wear in multiple settings. The new tapered 3861 bracelet looks to be a fan favourite really hugging the wrist and nylon strap to cover you if you’re looking to dress it up.
