Omegas limited editions for the Tokyo Olympics are really impressive.This model I would say is heavily underrated. Subtle green bezel paired with gorgeous silver dial makes this a really nice edition to round out the Tokyo collection. Gold and green has become popular amongst collectors. The Gold indices, hands, Chrono pushers and sub dials are really eye catching on this piece. Additionally Omegas addition of the glidelock on bracelet makes it easily sized adding to its versatility.
We have seen a lot of editions on the Speedmaster from Omega in recent years and some have been a little lacklustre. However, after seeing this watch dazzle in the sun I knew this was something special.The hint of colour gives the already timeless Speedmaster a modern twist. As well as being fun and wearable. Something I found myself looking for in recent years.
Omega has not failed to impress with this piece and I think ever collector needs to experience a Speedy in the flesh.
