The Panerai Luminor was introduced in the mid to late 30s specifically designed for the Italian navy. Their patented crown guard is iconic and case design is one that will go down as one that is truly unique and recognizable. A very distinctive look that cant be mistaken for any other watch and is incredibly versatile. 

The base PAM is very legible and simple, The rubber strap makes this watch feel sporty yet very wearable for any daily activities. Lume is strong and a 44mm dial is very wearable even for my smallish wrist. The trademark crown guard is iconic and a black dial is a must. 

I never saw myself wearing a Panerai but there’s something so unique and interesting about this piece that drew me in.
