The Panerai Luminor was introduced in the mid to late 30s specifically designed for the Italian navy. Their patented crown guard is iconic and case design is one that will go down as one that is truly unique to Panerai.In recent years, Panerais move towards sustainable and recycled materials has been one that may shape the watch world. Their emphasis on their new Esteel as a 98.6% recycled material is something I can say I’ve never seen before.
Panerais new release of this 500 limited edition is something that I can say is personally one of their nicer releases.The dial is something special. A olive green shade with a slight sparkle about it. Paired with a more wearable case at 40mm.
For me as a modern day daily diver sort of guy, this watch fits the bill. Much more wearable case, giving the modern day wearer what they need. As well as perfectly paired rubber strap for any of you that have an active lifestyle like me. Dial is gorgeous and 3 day power reserve is another feature Panerai do well.
