While this might not be everyone’s fan favourite, the Pearlmaster has always slept under the radar as a silent alternative to today’s widely known Rolex series. The inception of a petite, elegant dress watch following the Yachtmaster has led to this series’ focus on precious metal, gem-set dial and bezel combination with a one-of-a-kind integrated bracelet. While the series has placed an emphasis on female audiences with its proportion and glamour, few rappers have somewhat pulled it off in multiple events with this petite sizing and somewhat appealing as a bracelet with time display. 

I’m sure we’ve seen the petite Datejusts from 28mm to 31mm in both vintage and modern references, however, the Pearlmaster is no similar in weight and fit to its little sister. The full gold bracelet and integrated clasp adds much more weight and presence to an elegant interpretation between jewellery, bracelet and watch. Creatively flamboyant, this variation features a full rose gold composition, a chocolate dial with Roman numerals and a diamond-set bezel.

There is an elegance and grace that quite simply is unrivalled by other pieces in similar size proportion. Rather than enlarging the dial proportion, I feel that this model placed a new target towards those seeking jewellery and watches in one single package.
