1958 was a big year for Tudor. Their release of the Black Bay was one that has shaped many of their models to this day. In particular their release in 2018 of the black gilt re-edition. Staying true to its predecessor, the Black Bay remains a no-crown guard diver with a 200-metre water resistance.
Although a little larger than the original, the 41mm case paired with a timeless black gilt dial makes the 41mm one of the most versatile and wearable dive watches on the market. Tudor continues to use the snowflake hands on their newer dive models. Going back to when they were first released in the brands catalog in 1969. A classic daily diver that may go down as one of Tudors most popular ranges.
Personally, I find the wearability and functionality of the 41mm second to none. One of the best value for current offerings in the market.
