The reasoning behind the making of the FXD excites me. Teaming up with the Marine National once again to produce this exceptional tool watch. Tudor have a long standing history with the Marine Nationale, designing watches that are truely purpose built and highly versatile.

Tudor has brought something to the table that not only provides what is needed from a military perspective but gives the modern day watch wearer something to rave about. From its fixed spring bars to its bi directional bezel this is the ultimate tool watch. We are talking a 200 metre depth rating paired with fully lumed dial indices and bezel. the velcro strap attached to fixed spring bars gives the divers confidence that the watch will not detach while swimming. Paired with super lightweight titanium case and a gorgeous blue dial you cant go wrong coming into summer.

Personally i think this watch is awesome. to me its the feeling of knowing this watch was built for a very specific purpose but also accommodates the looks and feels of a modern diver that anyone can enjoy. The history is strong with this one and there’s a lot to love.

I think a lot of modern watch brands have stopped trying to build watches for a purpose. However with this release Tudor has shown that it can accomodate for both the modern watch collector and still build watches that are made for a purpose.
